I've been raising ducks for 5 years with an incubator and each year out of seven eggs I get one duckling is there anything I can do to increase my odds. I keep the temp at 100 degrees and humidity at 60 to 70. Then I take the eggs off the turner at the third to last day and raise the humidity

[IMG]What kind of incubator is it? Still or forced? I keep my temp at 99.5 F and Humidity around 55%-60%. I think 70% is almost too much. I use a cheap ebay one it has a orange lid and its clear bottom with egg turner, and also a Little Giant 9300.

    Also Welcome to BYC!

I'm going to have some magpie and ancona eggs hatching in a couple days. My 'bator is a circulated air, and I had my humidity at 30-40% and all but one of the fertile eggs developed great, just waiting and hoping for good hatch!

Well, humidity is not a set number, you have to go by the air cell. Do you keep track of the air cell? And if your incubator is still you have to have a different temp than a circulated, and I think you have to cool the eggs. I'm not sure since I have never used a still. I will see If I can find something for you to help.
