duck egg seems to be pecked at , was under a broody hen should i intervene ?

it seems to be dead however cant see the egg properly, again am new to this whole process so all / any help /advice would be great

How long has it been trying to hatch for?

ive had a chick trying to hatch for 2 days and ive learned if it takes that long something is wrong with the chick.

If it has being trying to hatch for over 24 hours, I would help it.

thats what i did and it survived for 2 hours then stopped breathing.
