Duck Eggs extreme difference in size

I have three laying Appleyard's, 3, 2 & 1 years old. This is the first laying season for the one year old. The ducks free range all day and "All Flock" from TS is left out daily.

All three has been laying and one egg seems to have been slightly smaller. Today I have one that is the size of a small chicken or bird? Picture attached, is this normal?

I also have 11 eggs in the incubator with 9 seems fertile. I know some of the eggs are from each duck.

The small egg is from the new layer and its normal. They will be consistently large next year.

Yeah, it is normal for new layers to have smaller eggs.

I have a duck who has layed smaller eggs her entire life. She's 6 now and her eggs are still medium chicken sized. That seems to be rare.
