Hello just wondering how long generally is the time between internal to external pipping? I know it's longer than chickens. I'm so impatient so I'd like to not worry they are running out of air in there. They are buff Orpington duck eggs and we are on day 27. Lots of movement and most have internally pipped since last night. Its currently next day afternoon. IMG_20191015_215448.jpg IMG_20191014_101801_595.jpg

Hi! It can take anywhere from 24-48 hours after the internal pip. Good luck and keep us updated when they hatch! :)

I hope so too. I'll feel more comfortable knowing they are breathing proper air. I checked our broody who I also gave a couple too. Quickly lifted her feathers to check and no progress there either. Lucky she is still sweet when broody, unlike my other hens that will peck your hand off. (pic from other day) IMG_20191013_162325_827.jpg

Keep us updated! I think the one that pipped on the wrong end should be okay.
