I have a duck who has gone broody, she’s sitting on 6 eggs. The eggs will hatch end of September/ very beginning of October. By October nights will be into the 40s, will they be too cold??

Ducks are quite hardy and quite able to raise ducklings when nights are in the 40s. If you live where temperatures get even lower you may have to help the hen by giving her a warmer place to raise her brood. Here in TN I plan on letting my Calls nest through the winter. My bantams raise chicks all winter and ducklings are hardier than chicks.
