Duck Eggs

Hi

My ducks started laying yesterday. Got one egg yesterday and 2 today.

My eggs are for eating.

How do you clean / store them?

How do you eat them? was reading about salmonella and it said you should only eat them if they are cook through.

Congratulations. You basically cook them just like you would a chicken egg, they will have a slightly different texture. They are Great in cakes or anything baked. I just clean them off if they need it and store them in a basket on my kitchen counter. I am not much into the refrigerator method unless its really hot.
