Duck eggs

Hello everyone, I have a question about eating duck eggs. I've been raising Rouens for about 4 years now and my girls regularly lay beautiful eggs. We were very excited to try them and found them to be delicious, but my husband seems to have a severe sensitivity to them. A few hours after he's had anything that has ducks eggs in it he becomes violently sick. Anyone else have experience with this?

The first couple times my DH ate duck eggs he got serious "runs". We didn't realize that was what it was until we went over in detail what he had. After those first two times, he has been fine when he eats them.

That being said, he could be allergic to them. DS is allergic to chicken eggs, but is fine with duck eggs. Your husband could be the opposite.
