Duck Hatching Problems!

Hi,
I have been incubating eggs that my Blue Swedish Duck has been laying. She has been mating with my Pekin Duck but i was told that the mix in breeds is ok. The first hatch date (28 days) was for Sunday however none of the eggs have hatched. However I candled about three of the eggs, about an hour ago and inside I can see the duckling and movement! Am I doing something wrong? Please Help I am getting nervous! Could it be the mix in breed?

I'm sure they are fine...your incubator may be a little cool...leave the lid shut and keep the humidity up!
Maybe next time, not now, but next time you could fuss with the temp to raise it a tiny bit...

I agree, sounds like your temps were too low on this one. Just leave it be and bump up the humidity, they should be all right.

Low temps = slow hatch.

Or maybe your babies are just lazy

Just relax. I bet they will be out in a couple of days.
