Our duck started acting weird last week. We put him in an area alone. He was walking like he was drunk, labored breathing and just weird. His crop felt very squishy. He was eating and drinking a bit. The last few days he looksa better and is eating more but still mot 100%. His poop has changed over time but wondering if what we are doing is right or if we need to do something different. Weve done yogurt, olive oil, cinnamon n oregano oil. Attaching different pix of his poop maybe someone has a thought of whats wrong with him

Hi, there, welcome to BYC. Sorry to hear about your bird. Hopefully, we can be of help, but to do so first, we'll need some more information about the bird. Could you answer these questions?

How old is the duck? How long have you had him? Has he had any problems in the past? Do you have any pictures, or better yet a video of him? What is he being fed? Is he housed with any other ducks? Have you checked him over thoroughly, looking in his mouth, around vent, making sure each joint bends properly?

The different poop colors, are likely due to you feeding him yogurt, oregano, cinnamon, and olive oil. Just as a note, it's best not to give ducks olive oil.

Ok hes about 13weeks old and hes been with us since he was a week old. He eats grit, scratch bird pellets. And we give em a few snacks, lettuce and tomatoes. He hasnt had any other issues though he is very pigeon toed. He was housed with another duck 4 chickens and 3 turkeys. They have an area about 12x12 at night and 1/4 acre during the day.
i will not give him anymore olive oil. He didn’t eat the last batch. He was doing well then today he started again. Wobbly. I saw him munching around in his bedding, but I don’t know what he was eating. Hes been separated since last week. I will send a video tomorrow or pictures

[it doesnt let me attach a video

the food we give, only one has niacin the other doesn’t. We will definitely add niacin to their diet. Could this be the issue for him/her as to why hes a ting weird?
Im attachin pictures since it doesnt allow me to attach a video. If you can tell me how yo do that i can attach.
