Duck killed, is this a hawk attack?

Wife came home and reported one Rouen was missing. Shortly after she called to say it was in the fence, but killed. I have 4’ electronet, with a hot AC Charger. I happen to know it is very hot.
I have seen a fox jump it in the winter with snow on. I see no evidence of tracks here, of course it is grass so, maybe i wouldn’t. The neck was stripped bare, the head still attached but dangling by a string. The innards torn out through the neck hole. I have seen hawks in passing around but never up close right here. They were all shut away last night, so this happened today, i count them carefully every night. I have seen vultures circling but would a vulture bother a live duck?
The other 9 remain uninjured.
I have since taken out 2 sections of fence leaving them with only one 168’ section around their house and around large maple trees.
I am pretty mad about it, but what can be done? It really isn’t feasible to cover their enclosure.

You mention maple trees. Any trees inside touch trees outside the fence? I don't have experience with your type of electric fence, but if there is a way in, coon will find it.

I’m so sorry!! We have lost a chicken to a hawk they tend to eat the whole thing leaving the carcass and feathers. Maybe an owl?? Or a raccoon??

I can see how possibly a coon could have gotten in, up a small tree on the outside, drop in, but getting out without fence damage I cannot see. The electronet is floppy, not conducive to climbing, and it would have shocked the bejezus out of anything that tried.
