Duck owners please help! Is this infection? What to do?

Hello everyone, I’ve been very worried about this. I noticed just today my American male pekin duck has this besides his preen gland/oil gland..has anyone seen this on their duck? And have you been able to treat it with some specific ointment? Anything would help honestly:,) He doesn’t show any signs of discomfort, and he is eating normally. Does any duck owner know what this is? I was planning on cleaning it with epson salt, but still unsure if I should..

“Near” His preening gland ? Or is that actually his preening gland.

It’s a bit besides to the left of his preening gland, but i watched him carefully put his oil and he seems to put oil on that too as if it doesn’t bother him? Have you seen anything similar to this?

Since he is eating and acting normal and doesn't appear to be in pain If you have some Triple antibiotic ointment, you could gently rub it all over the area. If he is still getting in water to bathe, then the best time to use it would be when you put him up for the night. Make sure that the ointment doesn't have pain relief in it. His feathers look good like the oils he is working into his feathers are keeping him waterproof.

Is neosporin triple antibiotic a good choice? Thank you so much for the response! I’ll try this today. Would you recommend me to clean it with a bit of epsom salt and warm water before the antibiotic or no?
