got the duck shelter done today. I'm not ready to take down the pool yet, so I put the pool in the shelter. I figure once it's empty I will then fill it with straw for them. The ramp is perfect for them to get in too. They love it. Of course while we were working they were getting into everything. Ricky picked up a piece of something and was almost choking. Then they started with the plastic. I have covered as much plastic as I could. I got wood and more hardware cloth up to cover plastic.

I just got to get more rocks and mulch and we are good, until I think of something else.

The new girls are getting along great with Lucy and Ricky. They all have bonded well

Trailer park boys?

That is a pretty neat and sturdy shelter. I like the idea of putting the pool in there too.
I put a tarp up to be a wind block and my ducks are acting like it's some sneaky predator that I installed. I had to physically pick up two of them and put them in their house for the night.

When I first painted the duck house, they refused to go in it. For two nights I had to crawl in there and show them it was the same and okay.

There was a lot of noise putting everything together and they did good. I caught my niece walking around holding one of the new babies and she was pretty content in her arms.
