We also have (in US) Gorilla Tape that sounds like Black Nasty...so tough its hard to pull off and when you do, it leaves a mess of sticky stuff behind. But boy does it work!

I have used duct tape on ducks, so I guess it really was duck tape.

Then you might not like my answer- A quick wrap around their bodies keeps them from flapping just before, uh, butchering.

Quote:Not on ducks, but I have used it on chickens! Had 2 that were being torn up by my roo. You know chickens, they see anything red they have to pick at it. Put it across the area being picked= instant saddle ! Feathers will grow back with no problem and the tape will eventually fall off. Saw it in a chicken magazine but can't remember where, lol Chemobrain strikes again!

I've used the tape on a duck as well, to hold on a "boot" while she recovered from Bumblefoot
