Somehow it looks like my girls toenail has come off:( any thoughts on how something like this heals? How can I help treat it?

It's not uncommon for birds to get their nails tangled in something and lose a nail. If the wound has scabbed over with no sign of infection, do nothing. It will heal up fast.

If the nail loss is new or infected, clean the area and sterilize the wound. Keep the duck in clean quarters for a couple days so the wound stays clean.

She most likely caught it on something I’ve had a few do this. You can just leave it alone or dab some antibiotic salve over it. Ducks heal pretty fast.
Wonderful! Will the nail grow back? Also, do you have an antibiotic salve you recommend or is that something I get from a vet?
