Duck with Bumblefoot

I have a Saxony drake with bumblefoot. I have tried to give him antibiotics orally and can't get him to open his bill. I have him separated in a pen with straw any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Can you do surgery on a ducks foot ,like you can a chicken?? If so, search bumblefoot- Ruth has a wonderful tutorial. I had to do the surgery on one of my chickens and it went very well. Good luck- hopefully a duck person will reply...
