Duck with injured leg... help!

My male buff duck has a broken leg or serious sprain or strain. He is not using his leg at all and his foot drags behind him !
I am keeping him confined to restrict movement. Should I wrap it so it heals/ sets correctly?

I don't have ducks, but this may be helpful. Explains how to examine for a fracture, and how to splint various ones, if needed. Anatomy is basically the same for all birds.
