^^^That is what my exasperated husband good-naturedly called it when it became waaay larger than ever planned (48' x 24'). LOL

(When we were planning it out with wooden stakes and string, he'd move the stakes in, and as soon as he turned around I'd move them back out.)

Wow, that is nice.

Please update us on how the pool works. I think it is a good idea to have the gravel around the outside.

Someone needs to invent a duck pool, one with 2 pools an inner pool and an outer pool. The outer pool’s water does not mix (much – maybe spillover) with the inner pool water. The outer pool will have a huge filter to suck out all the debris that come off the duck when they first enter the water (and the poop – we all know they poop as soon as their bellies hit the water) The inner pool will stay cleaner because of the outer pool so it will not need as big of a filter.
Ok – now someone get on that!

How are you planning for your pool to work?
Is there a drainage system on it? Or are you planning to just dump it?

That is gorgeous. Love the pool. Just wondering, is this for them just during the day? How will they be safe from predators at night? (I am such a worry wart!)
BTW, BEAUTIFUL Dobie! Miss my black and rust Dobes. I have an Isabella with natural ears now. Love her to death, but miss the "traditional" Dobermans I used to have. Ahh, maybe again someday..........

Love that idea! There was a bit of similiar logic in our minds when we created the perimeter around our pool (which is concrete, by the way--not gravel); we were hoping to get some of the mud and stuff off of them before they hopped into the pool. So far it seems to be working well!
