Hi everyone! This is my first post here even though I have enjoying seeing everyone’s advice for years! I’m very excited to be finally apart of it all myself.

I have successfully hatched three ducklings (cherry valleys and 1 welsh harlequin) they are doing really well, I’ve had them on chick crumb with brewers yeast for the extra niacin and lots of greens and yummy bits.
They are now two and a bit weeks and I’m moving them slowly onto duckling/waterfowl growers pellets.

my question is - will I still need to add brewers yeast to the growers? Or because it’s especially for ducklings should it have enough nutrition in it without me adding extra?
Many thanks!!

It would take lots of niacin to overdose them. They'll just excrete any extra so it's not economical to give them extra niacin, but it won't hurt either. I wouldn't buy more for this hatch if you run out, but it's got a shelf life so you might as well use it if you don't plan on using it as a supplement for your diet.
