duckling got leg stuck in weeds ripped its skin off

I would measure But i would make a nice mess.i will ask my sister when she comes down on Sunday. I do have a scale
A scale make it easy! Just set it to grams with an small empty container, zero it with the container on it and add two tablespoons to the container. Make sense?

That powder is 5.5%, which means that each gram has 55 grams of oxytetracycline. One I know how much two tablespoons weigh I can calculate how many teaspoons per gallon you would use.

When my gander was about 4 weeks old he got his head stuck under a wire fence. We're still not exactly sure what happened but he looked like he was scalped. He had a gauge in his head and it was very raw looking. What was suggested to me was to put ACV in his water. He would naturally rinse his head as he drank it. From what I've been told ACV is a natural antibacterial. His head healed wonderfully. Maybe you could make him an ACV bath. If I recall it's 1-2 tablespoons to a gallon of water. Or give it to him in his water to drink. It's really good for them anyway and couldn't hurt. I hope your little one heals up nicely! :)

What is acv?

What is acv?
Raw, unfiltered, with Mother, apple cider vinegar. It's good stuff but I'm leery of adding anything when antibiotics or electrolytes are being used. Since it looks like there isn't an infection you could go the ACV route and hold off on antibiotics unless you have already started. Don't stop if you already started to give them. I can't say about well water that is beyond my expertise.
