Update...Only a very very small scab at the top! Squacks is 98% healed!!!!

opps i posted my showgirl, i thought she was sick. turns out she took the road island red hens eggs. she is refusing to move off the 3 eggs, she tried to keep more but her little body wouldn't cover any more.... i marked 3 and took the rest. so if she does well i should have three new chick...
the ducks are ready to go outside... Squacks jumped out of the tub and tried to eat the cat. I wanted to wait for the little scab to come off but he has other plans. they are moving into a wire dog crate next to the duck coop, that will be the only way for me to keep them clean.

When i got zeek in March i was told she was a turken. I put her in with my silky. Then my silky died, i thought i would just get another turken so she would have a friend. Got a turken chick.... They are diffrent birds. Zeek is a silky turken cross or Showgirl. She has extra toes,crest,feathed legs and Black skin like a silky, But has a neaked neck like the turken. beat chicken i have! Im going to get a speckled silky Roo and try to make some more!

Im also going to cross her with Richard my dunccle and see what i come up with.

Yes! Squacks the biting duck, jumped out of the tub and attacked the cat when she passed by the tub. So now Squacks and squirt have to go outside. He is a very hostal duck! Luck for the rest of us ducks dont have teeth!

yes, i thought he would be the most friendly because i handled him all the time but he is the most angry one!
I am hoping to make some cool zeek babies, i got richard thought the two would make cool chicks!, but zeek quit laying afew days after getting richard about 2 weeks now.
hoping to have some in the spring, now she is hatching 3 eggs that are not even hers they are rhode island reds

It won't matter to her whose eggs she is sitting on they will be her babies. Of course we have to see them once they hatch.
