These are my new little babies. I thought some of you might like to see them, just for fun. They are cross-bred call ducklings, pets only. Mom is a pied mallard call and Dad is a mixed call (white with a few black spots). Hattie (Mom) wanted so badly to sit on eggs, so I let her and these are the result. They're so cute!

They're so full of personality already. [IMG] I love my little duckies! If anyone lives near me and can provide an excellent home, at least some of these guys will be up for adoption in about five to six weeks.

Hatch day (actually, this was the last hatch day--the little brown ducky was the only one still left in the egg at this point):

The whole family (don't worry, I took down the steps into the pool at this point so the kids don't get in and drown):

I wish I lived nearby and could adopt one, they look so nice with the different colorings, I would love to see these mature since they are hybrids. The markings would be amusing to watch develop.

    Your ducklings are so adorable.

I really enjoyed looking through your photos.

I can't wait for my duck eggs to hatch so I can share also!
