My ducklings will be hatching soon. I am making a wool hen as they call it to go along with the other source of heat. It is an old plastic cat litter box. I have of piece of cardboard that i am tying strips of fleece to. I am wondering if i could use yarn as well. Anyone have expierience with ducklings and yarn? Is it safe?

My ducklings try to eat any string they find. So i would say no yarn is not safe. I hope your hatching goes well:)

That's what I thought. I will stick with the fleece. Thank you so much!

Your welcome. What kinds of ducklings are you hatching?

If you get a chance, could you post pictures of the wool hen? I'm intrigued.

How far along are your eggs?
