I have 2 pekin ducklings that are way bigger than the Rouen ducklings we just got. I let them all out in the yard when the weather is nice and I watch them as they eat. Well today I noticed that the pekin ducks peck and bite the smaller rouen ducks when they get near the food. They are maybe only a week or two apart so I thought they would assimilate fine. They do okay with the smaller chicks I have and where added to my chicks flock at 2 weeks. What can I do to make them all get along?

They are probably trying to establish their dominance over the younger ducklings. All of my non-chicken residents usually act like the chickens aren't even there- they ignore them. I would feed the younger ducklings seperately, or sit with them when they're eating to show them who the real head of the pecking order is. Good luck!
