Ducklings found the stream

So, I have been taking my ducks out on nice days and leaving them outside. Usually they don't wander too far from the front of the house. Today, however, while I was at the neighbors house in front of mine, the ducks came looking for me. Between our houses is a small stream about ten feet wide. Once the ducks saw the stream, they stopped looking for me...

Now they won't come out. They are not quite six weeks old.

you might have to chase them out. at that young they don't know better, but they can stay in there too long, get tired or cold and drown

At 6 weeks I think they will be fine. If they get hungry they will come out

They were pretty happy down there all curled up on a sandbar. My neighbor help me get them out. Once he started corralling them, they came right over to me and followed me up to the house.
