ducklings legs

i have three ducklings. two of them have bowlegged and swollen legs. one can’t hardly walk it had to jump and has laid on its bottom. the feet are starting to close together kinda. i’ve gaven them niacin for about two weeks. any help PLEASE?!

Could you post a picture/video of the ducks? What brand of niacin are you using, at what dose, and how are you administering it?

Yes I will tonight! i am using the nature’s bounty brand? it’s 500 mg pills and i’m putting a whole one in the water because i upped the dose and half in the food

Best i could get sorry. Also not sure if this is normal but the ducklings have a smell not their feces but their actual body it is horrible i’ve bathed them and everything and they swim

If you want your babies to recover they need the liquid BComplex that is recommended In the link @Isaac 0 gave you. It is the best there is for getting them back on their feet and legs strong. 1 ml daily per duckling over a tasty treat. This liquid b complex will say injectable but we use it orally for our waterfowl. They need this asap

Please read the entire niacin thread too. Also, concrete is not a suitable substrate material, they need to be moved to something much softer like straw or wood shavings.

hey issac they are on shavings they usually are on grass but shavings at night since i keep them inside rn till they are older and it is just concrete so i could get easy pics lol
