Ducks and ACV

I have been seeing alot on putting apple cider vinegar in chickens drinking water, and im thinking about doing that, but im wondering, if ducky "swims" in the ACV water, will it damage his feathers? His "pond" is pretty much the main water source, and im imagining that even if i had a different bowl, he'd still get in it.

Don't take my word for this...maybe someone will chime in, but I believe I've read that an ACV bath for chickens really makes the feathers shiny and all. I know it's good to put on your own hair as a rinse. So, I would think it's ok for the ducks.
