Hello! My pekin ducks just recently gave me two eggs and I’m very excited! I was wondering what I could do to improve the egg quality. They’re currently on a layers feed.

Make sure you offer them oyster shell while they are laying, just to make sure they have enough calcium to make those hard shells.

You can buy it at tractor supply... it’s already treated and crushed; you just have to put it in a separate container and offer it free choice.

Tractor Supply or any feed store has crushed shell. Its not that expensive.

I get mine at walmart back by the pet section, but yeah if there is a tractor supply or feed store they probably have it. Yes they are crushed.
