    Help!

    Everyone is on strike!

I have a pair of Campbell's that are 6 months old and the male has been mating with the female for a month now - She has not started laying.

I also have two female Pekins who are nine months old - has not started laying.

I have a pair of Crested Pekin's who are 2 years old (I just got them two weeks ago) - not laying.

I have one White Hybrid 300 who IS laying.

There is a six month old Muscovy male, and a four month old fawn runner, also a male.

They are in an enclosed area so I know they aren't laying eggs anywhere else.

I am getting one egg per day, and it's the White layer for certain (I know her eggs).

    Thoughts?

Loss of daylight most likely Probably next spring you'll have more eggs than you'll know what to do with.

I would also consider temperature, changes in flock dynamics, too much mating as possibly contributing. I found with my Runners that temperature matters more than daylight.

Right now, age is a factor - my Runners are closing in on six years old, and don't lay as much even in summer. But between them and the Buffs and Black East Indie girl, we have more eggs than we need (so we share).
