I observe or anthropomorphize situations with my ducks all the time. It seems like a soap opera. Well, it was suggested by @cayugaducklady that I start a thread of such things. I believe that this was in jest, but the more I thought about it, the more I thought something like this might be fun... So rather than me writing a novella on my ducks here, let's make this a picture thread (at least 1 picture is required per episode.) And we can all post drama scenes with our flocks. Since I don't have anything prepared at the moment, I will direct you to one of my prior episodes where you can see the conflict between my two drakes over two new girls being introduced to the flock and how the non-dominant drake gets his way. https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/919453/tevye-a-really-awesome-duck This would also be a great place to introduce new members in established flocks like: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/897006/welcome-noir-and-mystique And losses of old friends such as: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/1000393/r-i-p-snow Along with heart warming stories like: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/1011491/ducky-love-tevye-rhiannon I would expect to see lots of , , and on this thread. Bite into this thread like Tevye going for a piece of lettuce... Haaaaaaump!
