Ducks with hens?!

    I probably should have looked through older posts (so many!)...
    I'm getting pekin ducks and may keep a breeding pair. Can they be housed with my hens?

    I wouldn't advise keeping a drake with hens, drakes are overly sexed and will try to mate with just about anything including your hens, which will end in death for them since ducks and chickens are made to mate completely different, It would be safer to keep your pair of Pekins separate from your chickens, free ranging maybe okay with supervision, but not housed together.
