Ducks wont go in their house at night

Hi everyone. I have 8 Welsh Harlequin ducks which I raised from 3 days old. 2 males and 6 females. They are now 7 months old. They have their own outside protected run area and used to go in their house every night when it got dark. For the past 5 nights, they will not go in their house, but are staying outside. Their house is clean and they do have enough room. They are even going in there to lay eggs, but yet every night when it's time to close them up, they wont go in. It's a little odd, because the weather is turning colder. The only thing I can think of is it's been a full moon and clear skies at night, so it has been a bit bright. Any ideas?

Ducks seem to have their own reasons, and it is up to us to get them in to safe shelter at night. I don't know exactly what their pen is like, but duckhouses are usually safer at night than many pens.

Before it gets really dark, you may want to coax them in with treats like peas, and get them used to going in at night again.
