    Yes, I've got silkie/BO and silkie/cochin chicks to prove it! [​IMG] It's a bit more work for them, but my roos sure seem to manage! [​IMG]

    Some can and some can't. I've had larger bantams who are successful because the hen literally lays down on ground so he can mount her. Other roos, however willing the hen is, have bodies too short to make it happen.
