I have swimming pools for my ducks out in the yard. Then I have one in the doe goat pen (where my 2 drakes live) and one in my "far" pen where my mastiffs run most of the time - but once in a while my does go over there to graze.

I have Muscovey and even though I clean the pools daily - the algae is horrible. can I put feeder fish in there to help with it. Is there pros or cons for the scovey with doing this?

I don't really know the answer but I think I saw some posts on BYC where they showed picks of goslings or ducks eating feeder fish put in a pool.

Well you can but They will be gone in a matter of minutes and it would be a waste of money for that reason.

Hi Kelebek is it in the shade or in the sun as i have found if its in the sun the water gets warm and the algae growes very quickly [IMG]

Dump tons of feeders in. They will eat them. Have a video camera handy, it's funny
