Dumbest Things People Have Said About Your Chickens/Eggs/Meat

*face palm* yes it was but had no scars. What do you think?!?!?

Haven't you heard of people having hair singed off? I knew someone whom had his eyebrows and other facial hair burned off and a little off the top of his head without any permanent scarring. Sounds like a legitimate question from someone not familiar with chickens or at least not that breed.

one i forgot from my cousin- we were watching my chicks and he tried to make it stand on his finger like his parakeets and i said, "Please don't do that, because they aren't meant to do that. Chickens are to big to do that." him- "they are smaller then my birds! i think they should." me, "um, they'll get A LOT bigger!" him, shocked, "Chickens actually grow?!?!?! I thought they weren't real enough." ???? what's THAT supposed to mean?

Yeah I know that that happens (I had it happen when we were burning pasture) but I had was showing this person a timeline of their lives. So they had no neck feathers from day one to present. And I had told them that they were NAKED necks, but apparently that part didn't compute.

Omg, My g-parents and aunt and uncle are talking about vegans and vegetarians. They're talking about how people won't eat eggs and how they think it's so stupid because if no one eats the eggs they'll just hatch. That wouldn't have been my argument but okay....it's a start I guess.

Just tell them that is the radiation the put the bread through just after the eggs are laid to prevent bacterial growth.. those are just the ones they radiated later then they should.

Sister- What's that?
Me- An egg
Sister- Is there a baby chick in it?
Me- No
Sister- then what's in it?
Me- Food, breakfast
Sister- Is it chick food?

She is so funny. I probably told her there was a chandleick in an egg when I brought one in to candle, so that's probably where she got it from.
