Been looking through posts for awhile trying to find this info... I have a sick OEGB pullet, respiratory illness of some sort. Feed store gave me medicated crumble and this pack of tetracycline. It's a pack of 6.4 oz. powder that depending on the mg. needed can make up to 100 gallons....I only need to medicate one bird! And don't know at what strength...100mg to 800mg. Anyone know? I don't really want to end up at the vet...already spent some $$$ on our egg bound hen a few weeks ago. This little girl came from someone local who after the fact, I found out she has sold sick birds to others. It is supposed to be my daughter's 4H bird.

Duramycin 10 dosage= 2 teaspoons per gallon and you MUST change it out EVERY 24 HOURS

It will look like very diluted Mt.Dew...lol

Best Wishes,

I just happen to have one of my girls on this right now. I mix up 1/2 tsp to 21 oz water in a 2 ltr bottle. That's the higher 800 mg dose ;-)
