I have checked the search feature but I only find how much to put in the water and not how much to dose the chicken. I am more comfortable giving the chicken that is sick a dropperful of the tetracycline instead of putting it in the water. It seems as though that way would be easier to insure proper dosage. Any ideas?

I think I just take out my scale and figure out 70 mg (divided by 2, twice a day) for my chick who is about 7 pounds. I'm dealing with a very small amount so shouldn't take too much to mix it.

If this doesn't sound right, please let me know.

You can cut dosages down in halves, for example: The dosage for the 6.4 soluable powder is 1 tablespoon per gallon. Cut the powder down by half to mix it in a half gallon of water. You can continue to do the cutting in halves if you wish. You have to make a fresh solution daily.
