Dutch Bantam

There is a thread in this forum on them. I don't have any, but I just ordered some eggs. They are supposed to be very friendly and sweet. And very very tiny. Several people told me they'd be great for my kids to learn how to show chickens with since they're so small and friendly. They make good pets. I have one bantam hen that I think is part Dutch and she's very sweet. I love the cute little noises she makes with her squeaky/whistly little voice!
 
I have several. The hens and pullets are great. They are very showy and make nice showmanship birds for the kids. The cockerels can be agressive, I would be careful with kids handling the cocks or cockerels. For kids showing I would stick with hens or pullets.
 
my sister has a few hens and roosters all of them are super friendly and easy to handle and yes that includes the roos. easy to show since their clean legged, their small. and at shows you dont see many
