Couple days late on this one, Photobucket took me forever last night.

They are spending the days outside and coming in at sundown.

    Geese first:

They are becoming very proficient grass munchers!

The ducks are growing feathers like crazy. It is cool how ducks get feathers on their undersides first, unlike my chicks. Lets you know what their main means of escape from predators is I suppose.

The duckling with a hurt leg stays inside with a buddy. Hurt duck started standing up again last night, so I plan to let her/him roam the whole brooder pretty soon.

Awsome! I really like your geese, and how they're all fluffy.
Doesn't that breed of ducks fly?

Quote:You know, I have no idea. Info on them has been hard for me to find. Holderread's didn't mention anything, but I think I am going to order his breed information sheet on them.

    Oh Pilgrims!!!

Amongst my goslings I have two who are definitely grey. I hope hope hope they are female Pilgrims... but, I never saw the female with anyone but the Embden. But maybe we'll get lucky.
