Ok, so having read a few other posts I noticed that the topic of colouring or "dyeing" chicks is pretty controversial, before I continue I just want to establish a few things, first and foremost being that I have already hatched these chicks with full intent to care for and love them, and that I did not simply do it so I could colour them so they'd be cute things to look at.

Secondly, I only want to colour (the tops of their heads) because I'm having a really tough time telling who is who and it's sort of stressful because I want to be able to know who is eating as much as they should and who isn't, whose sleeping enough... things like that.

Also, I want to name them, so I was wondering if anyone knew a good method for colouring chicks and if not, if there is any other way you could mark them to be able to differentiate one from the other!
