Dying baby chick question....

So, I received 21 baby chicks on Monday. All look to be healthy and thriving except one who is obviously dying. My question is should I remove it now, or wait till it passes? Should it be separated just in case in has a disease? Thank you!

I would remove it from the others if you know it is past recovery. Sometimes some chicks just don't make it. Could be a genetic defect. If you see others getting ill I would definitely post in the emergency section. Best of luck!!

Thanks for the feedback! Yes I believe it is past all hope. It was lethargic yesterday and now it can’t stand.

If it is ill then whatever it has has already been passed to the others. But I would remove it and cull it rather than leave it in to either get trampled or eaten alive by the others.
