Dying chicks/eggs in new mexico?

    Just wondering whether it is legal or not? I've never dyed chicks and have never plan to I was just curious.

    I don't think it is illegal, there's really not much protection for chickens. Why would anyone want to dye them?

    omg, dying white silkies is a big thing! I haven't done this. I can say it's pretty, but I am not certain how I feel about it. I know chicks were being dyed to make them more sellable. This I do disagree with because I think it tends to get people to buy them that shouldn't, but that is just my opinion.
