I hate to put a brand name on the board, I'm not trying to hurt the company. I just don't know what I'm doing.

Is Eco-Flake bedding bad for baby chicks? I've had 1 die and another is sickly looking. I think they're eating the flake.

    Should I replace with newspaper?

    Thank you! Need help ASAP

Nevermind, I read in another thread, I'll use paper towels, I've got plenty of Bounty from Costco. Hope I can save the next little one. I feel so guilty. Taking the Eco Flake back to the feed store.

Are you sure it's the eco-flake? I've never used the stuff, I just used regular pine shavings, and had no losses. Is the temp right? You don't want it too hot in there. Can the chicks get away from the heatsource? Are they eating and drinking?
