Greenfire line of Light and Coronation sussex, what's their E base? e+, wheaten or?
Quote:Most columbian restricted birds are wheaten or brown. Down color will tell you if they are wheaten or brown. Brown columbians look like a wheaten with dark gray back. Wheaten are white to whitish in color. I would suspect they are wheaten. The chick down of the coronation is white.
Quote:light sussex are based on ewh/ewh. silver columbian is based on eb/eb(brown)
here the difference..
eb/eb(Columbian Wyandotte) on the left, eWh/eWh on the right(Light Sussex), you can tell the difference because the eb/eb shows stipling on the saddle.. ewh should not
Thanks to both for answers & excellent visual aids.
