Me & about 20 others were ripped off on e-bay with a Presale on eggs. They got me on 3 auctions totalling 42.00. The seller had 100% feedback, with almost 300 positive feedback posts. Now they're down to about 268 & it's falling like a rock. The dates for the delivery after the auction was over was just enough time to be too late to file a claim with e-bay or paypal. The seller was cluck-duck-goose. I have sent numerous emails asking for a refund, and according to the feedback, so did everyone else. With no response, of course. Just wanted to put a warning out there, since I noticed alot of threads about e-bay egg sales. I'll never buy a presale again. Lesson learned.

That is really rotten! They will probably come back with a new name in a while. That gives legit sellers on ebay a bad name!!!!!

Thanks for putting out the warning

Can you determine the seller's home town and contact the police there? Perhaps there are fraud charges that could be filed locally, especially if there are that many folks who were involved.

Whenever I see "presale" eggs, I would avoid it like a hot rock. In the past I've heard alot of people buying presale eggs and they got burned.

Sorry you had to go thru this and next time, you will be the wiser for it!

Wasn't cluck-duck-goose the same one that had shipped those horribly packed Maran eggs that all ended up getting smashed?

I don't know. I'll lookinto that. I remember a few years ago hearing about a guy up north getting ripped off on e-bay by a man who lived in a neighboring town to me. He was able to get his money by sending copies of his transactions & emails to the local sheriff's dept. I'll definately look into finding out where they are. It is somewhere in Texas. I'll try to find out more.

I bought and paid for some eggs from that seller - I waited and waited, and I honestly think they had all intentions of sending out the eggs, but too many obstacles blocked them from sending mine. I called them on the phone - the number was listed on a mass email they sent out after I piad for my eggs - the lady was so stinkin' nice about asking if I wanted to wait until they could get my eggs, and I was 10th (TENTH!) in line for these eggs - I said no, please refund my money. She did, it took a few days to show up on my paypal account, but I got my money back. I left them bad feed back, but after I spoke to her, I felt bad. I figured that if they needed my $18 that badly, they should just keep it.
Anyways, if you check your emails, after you paid for the eggs, she sent a mass email out and it had their phone number listed.

I got burned with her too. I didn't realize her phone number was on that mass email. It's been too long for me to file a complaint, as I was giving her the benefit of the doubt, so maybe I'll call them.

Me, too, waited too long to dispute it, adn I also was giving them the benefit of the doubt - I really think they just had some really bad luck, she was very nice on the phone

I haven't gotten an email yet.. I'm still ticked at the lack of communication. I have emailed about 5 nice emails.. And about twice as many not so nice. No replies to any of them.
