Ok, I have been meaning to post this Q for weeks now. Do chickens get ear infections? I'm seeing a whitish patch on 2 or 3 birds. I'm wondering what causes it and how do I cure it?

Pics below. Penny on far bottom right has some white.
Next pic of the Frizzle on nests, had/still has a bit of yellow on them.

Yes they can, but that is just their natural earlobe color. Infection is inside the ear canal, cannot be seen in pics. Treatment would be to clean out the gunk (pus) from the ear canals and oral or injectable antibiotics. But I don't think yours have an infection. Just above the earlobes is a tuft of "hair", move that aside and you will see the ear canal. Is it crusty or clogged up with gunk (pus)?

Why is that part a weird color all of a sudden?
No idea about the canal, I'd have to go out and catch them first, lol.
