Early bird cuddles with sockbaby! More babies **pics***

I have read that chicks do better with others that hatch. I timed the hatch for the 20th.. but I guess one of the eggs i pulled out of the coop started incubating a little bit earlier. So I got a lonely chick... not anymore. Introducing SOCKBABY!!! It quieted down more and now has a friend.

I am not 100% on the breed. It possibly part Silkie/Polish/Houdan... I have not separated out my chickens yet so it makes for some very pretty fun hatches!!!

So I checked the incubator when I got home and there was 3 pips. So the chickie will have some friends soon! I just wonder what will hatch. I know one pip is on a blue egg!
