Hi guys! So I was checking the chickens tonight and one of my pullets had a tiny scab on the bottom of her foot that looked like bumble foot. What should I do for the early stages? Just remove the scab and wrap it? Thanks so much!

If there's no redness nor swelling, dont mess with it. It might go away on its own. Use sandpaper to sand down roosts free from splinters and burrs. Lowering roosts will also help prevent bumblefoot.

My vet said to just soak in chlorhexidine but I feel the best thing is to make sure they are not walking on things that could injure their feet and make sure they are getting adequate vitamins for duck health. I had the vet open up those tiny scabs on my drake and there was nothing there, no infection..nothing.
