This is a sale for eggs I can't fit in my incubators, birds that aren't laying enough to sell regular lots, for pens that have only been separated for a week-10 days, and just because variety is the spice of life!!

You will receive the hens' choice of 6++ eggs as they arrive from the ladies.

I will have chicks available May 5th!! If you prefer chicks, please let me know. First come, first served!

Alternatively, you can have your choice for $4-8 per egg, depending on the variety.

All orders will be packaged carefully and double-boxed. Shipping is $10. I will combine multiple sets and add $3 shipping for each additional set purchased, i.e., one lot= 6++ eggs, $35. Two lots= 12 ++ eggs, $63, and so on.

I'll edit this auction to reflect eggs that are available, so even if you can't buy what you want right now, check back later! There have been several new varieties added to the end of the listing, including turkeys.

The peas will be laying soon!

    Chocolate/Mauve Ameraucana Project

This is a project pen and will produce sex-linked Chocolate/Mauve pullets and some Chocolate, some Mauve, some Black, some Blue, and even some Splash cockerels. This is not the same gene as Dun.

Please check on the thread if you have questions, or ask away!

    Konza Prairie Rangers

These are a dual-purpose project I've been working on to produce an exceptional foraging bird for meat production as well as great laying hens. The birds are HUGE. I've had males dressing out consistently at over 6.5# at 14-16 weeks, and the pullets lay daily-ish at 17-19 weeks. These are created to have a minimal or flat comb for cold winter temps, yet hardy in heat, and tend to be black with mahogany double-laced partridge markings, or white with black columbian markings and red leakage. There isn't a consistent coloration as of yet, but I'm shooting for a good camouflage coloring for the airborne predators. This is a friendly, docile, broad-breasted bird with some broody leanings. The males are very calm and alert. I'm shooting for a nub comb, but still see small singles and peas a lot.

    South American Composites

These are derived of birds acquired through a BYC member and may be of a variety of appearances. They are all very good layers for a small body and low feed consumption. These tend to be independent but will suffer affection if you handle them often as you grow them out- they have great personality and manage to avoid predation very well. The hens lay a medium white or pale egg, but at a year, it's a large egg. Very good layers!

    French Black Copper Marans

Nice eggs average 6 or 7, but sometimes lighter, some darker. Very large, excellent birds from great lines, though I've worked with my stock for years now and consider them the BeakHouse line.

Note: Mr. Sir's leg feathering is continuous- the gap was an unfortunate pluck-and-run incident but is growing back.

Please remember that any shipped eggs may go through damaging travel conditions, and I will do everything I can by packing them carefully and double-boxing them. I feed my flocks an exclusive diet made of 12+ grains, herbs and spices, with a highly-digestible protein content for robust eggs- and naturally, robust chicks! These eggs ship well and great hatch rates result.

I also have Chocolate Ameraucana project, Chocolate d'Uccle project, bantam Chocolate Orps, Chocolate Marans project, Olive Eggers, mixed Heritage Turkeys, and Silkied Ameraucana project eggs available in limited quantities.

Please let me know if you have preferred breeds/colors- I won't make promises, but I'll try to comply!

I ship in foam inserts and double box.
Paypal instant pay only, NO E-CHECKS.

Please feel free to ask questions.

Thanks for all the emails- now scheduling for shipments for Monday, Feb. 18th, getting a dozen+ eggs a day so this combo won't be offered much longer if the girls keep laying better!

    Hiya!

I will be posting auctions for each specific variety once I've moved everyone around in a few weeks. The Cochin house is currently a few blues, a few Mottled, some split/Mottled and some Blacks. I won't probably divide them out any more specific for some time, but will be able to sell just Cochins after they begin to lay more regularly. Right now it's about 4 or 5 a week.

Keep your eyes open for auctions on here or on ebay under BeakHouseEggs. Happy hatching!

This is a pair of chocolate rocks that I hatched from Chooks Chicks eggs won on this auction! I was a first time hatcher and made a lot of mistakes but these two are strong and great little birds
