Well, I suppose it is right in the way that generally a three rowed comb would be larger than a one rowed comb, but otherwise not a good way to indicate the gender of an EE.Really! I did not know this!
Where would one find info on male colour of EE? I’d love to be more educated on that (just got some EE )She doesn't have boy colors, and her comb is so tiny and pale. (This is not my picture) but the left one is a cockerel at 5 weeks and the right one is a pullet at 17 weeks. View attachment 2862972
Well my EE cockerels are black and white. EE boys are sloppier and patchier when pullets are more even in their patterns. EE males also can/will get red patches on their wings.Where would one find info on male colour of EE? I’d love to be more educated on that (just got some EE )
Sounds like I’ll have to wait a bit to be extra sure! They were sold as pullets, but I’ve developed an untrusting soul lolWell my EE cockerels are black and white. EE boys are sloppier and patchier when pullets are more even in their patterns. EE males also can/will get red patches on their wings.
Adorable! It looks like a pullet pattern right now! I hope they end up being girls!Sounds like I’ll have to wait a bit to be extra sure! They were sold as pullets, but I’ve developed an untrusting soul lol
