Are EE's chicks supposed to be chipmunk I wasn't sure if they were a different breed?
Some are. Some aren't. They come in all colors.
The EE chicke
That does look like an EE. Greenish legs, and looks like a little beard.
Chipmunk pattern on a chick doesn't mean much. Several colors start out with that coloring. Basically means the chick is not going to be black or white, other than that it could be several different breeds or colors.
Ok and does that determine how the adults look because some are more solid.
An Easter Egger is the offspring of a blue egg laying breed and any other kind of chicken. I have had EE chicks that were just about every color from pale yellow through chipmunk to what I can best describe as dark calico.
The pale yellow one grew up to be white and red.
Wow I didn't realize their colors could change so much. Does anyone have chick then adult pictures so I know what to expect?
